About Shaws Cove Orthopaedics

Dr. Miller is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon and has been a staff physician at Yale New Haven Health, Lawrence+Memorial Hospital. Dr. Miller is also a participating surgeon at Constitution Surgery Center East in Waterford.

Dr. Jeffrey Miller graduated from Alfred University in Alfred, New York and received his undergraduate medical training at the Nova Southeastern University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He completed his Orthopaedic residency at the hospital of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where he was elected chief resident. He previously served in the United States Army Reserve, and has lectured throughout New England on the diagnosis and treatment of sports related injuries.

Dr. Miller is a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America and sits on the State of Connecticut Medical Society’s Committee on the Medical Aspects of Sports. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Osteopathic Medical Society and has served as a team physician for high school, collegiate and professional teams. His special interests are in shoulder and sports related injuries as well as spinal surgeries. In addition to Dr. Miller’s professional interest in shoulder surgeries, he is also a member of the Yale New Haven Health Orthopedic Trauma Team.
